We are proud to partner with the Horses and Humans Research Foundation (HHRF), one of the Premier Partners for the Seen Through Horses Campaign.

Through sustained investment in rigorous research, HHRF serves as a catalyst to advance global knowledge of horse-human interactions and their impact on health and wellness of people and horses. 

Through collaboration, education, and funding, HHRF is expanding the research and evidence-base of services incorporating horses to benefit people, including mental health and personal growth services. 

The value of numbers and data cannot be overstated in garnering support for organizations providing these services. 

By meticulously collecting and analyzing data on client outcomes, treatment efficacy, satisfaction levels, and impact on horses and horse welfare, we not only validate the effectiveness of these services but also demonstrate commitment to best practices. Research can inform approaches to better meet the needs of the clients and horses involved. 

Numbers serve as compelling evidence of the positive impact on the mental health and well-being of humans and horses alike, making a persuasive case for potential funders, clients and other stakeholders in supporting these services.

More Data - Economic Impact Survey

Another Seen Through Horses Campaign Premier Partner, the American Horse Council, just released the findings from the highly-anticipated 2023 Equine Economic Impact Survey. 

The American Horse Council works daily to advocate for the social, economic and legislative interests of the United States equine industry. 

The results of the survey shed light on the significant and robust contributions of the equine industry to the U.S. economy. 

This data supports equines and equine-related businesses and services through demonstrating the value of the equine industry in the national and state economies, including the over 1,500 organizations in the U.S. providing equine-assisted services. The survey results can be used to inform public and private investments and policies.

We appreciate all the work the American Horse Council does to advocate legislatively for horses and businesses. You can support their important efforts by becoming an individual or organization member and purchasing a copy of the 2023 Equine Economic Impact Study.

This is the third annual industry collaborative, peer-to-peer campaign designed to amplify awareness and raise funding for organizations providing mental health and personal growth services incorporating horses.
